A Tangled Themed Restaurant, new adventures and entertainment coming to the Disney Magic

I’ve never been on a Disney cruise, but I have always wanted to go. With Disney’s announcement Monday that they are creating new spaces and dining experiences for their cruise line, Disney Magic, perhaps it is time for me to forgo my annual Disneyland trip and take a cruise instead. (Or maybe add it to my trip line up? Hmm…)

Back to Disney’s announcement, they will have a Tangled Themed restaurant on the Disney Magic! My daughter, Princess Pony, goes crazy for Tangled – it is her favorite movie. And, if she hears about this, I know there will be a lot of, “Please, Mommy! We need to go!”

The restaurant will be called “Rapunzel’s Royal Table.”  This dining experience is the first table service restaurant themed to “Tangled” and will feature characters and live entertainment.  According to Disney, here is what to expect when you enter the restaurant :

Guests will step inside a regal ballroom in the royal castle, lit by glowing wish lanterns and adorned with colorful drawings that reflect Rapunzel’s artistic talents. Here, the King and Queen of Corona invite everyone to take part in a festive celebration of Rapunzel’s birthday and the anniversary of her return to the kingdom.

Rapunzel’s Royal Table will pair nicely with “Tangled: The Musical” that will be performed during the Disney Magic sailing.

In addition to the new restaurant, Disney is also adding a space for teens ages 14-17 and a “refined escape” for adults.

These exciting additions to the Disney Magic will debut on March 9, 2018. To learn more about the cruise and where it is headed, visit Disney’s Cruise Line Blog.

What do you think? Would you want to go on a Disney Cruise? Have you been on one? Would you go again? Would you go to Rapunzel’s Royal Table? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
